Califoria Teacher Accidently Fires Gun in Classroom

A California teacher accidentally fired a gun inside a Seaside High School. The teacher, Denis Alexander was teaching a course about gun safety when his gun fired. He was pointing it at the ceiling to make sure it wasn't loaded when the gun went off. When the gun went off one student was injured but not seriously injured. He was hit with fragments from the bullet that ricocheted off the ceiling and lodged into his neck. Teachers are not legally allowed to have a firearm in schools in California even if they have a permit. So i have no idea why a teacher would bring a loaded gun into the school. Just because it was a gun safety class doesn't mean he should of been teaching them with a loaded gun. In my opinion this is why guns should not be allowed in schools. Teachers should not be allowed to be armed in schools. Any accident can happen that can lead to the gun discharging and injuring someone. Guns are too dangerous for schools.
