A police officer is saying sorry to a firefighter she accidentally shot with a Taser by baking him an apology cake. Officer Darcy Workman shot Rickey Wagoner with her Taser while attempting to restrain a patient during an altercation at a hospital. Thankfully, the firefighter was not seriously hurt. Workman presented Wagoner on Saturday with an edible apology. The cake said sorry I tased you! A California teacher accidentally fired a gun inside a Seaside High School. The teacher, Denis Alexander was teaching a course about gun safety when his gun fired. He was pointing it at the ceiling to make sure it wasn't loaded when the gun went off. When the gun went off one student was injured but not seriously injured. He was hit with fragments from the bullet that ricocheted off the ceiling and lodged into his neck. Teachers are not legally allowed to have a firearm in schools in California even if they have a permit. So i have no idea why a teacher would bring a loaded gun into the school. Just because it was a gun safety class doesn't mean he should of been teaching them with a loaded gun. In my opinion this is why guns should not be allowed in schools. Teachers should not be allowed to be armed in schools. Any accident can happen that can lead to the gun discharging and injuring someone. In the aftermath of the Parkland High School Shooting, president Trump has a theory that highly adept people should be armed with firearms to prevent school shootings. But yet Scot Peterson, the armed officer that was on duty at Douglas High School when Nikolas Cruz opened fire, never went inside to confront the gunman as the shooting took place. He was spotted on surveillance cameras stationed at the west side of the building, but he never went in. When details emerged about this he resigned. This proves that Trumps theory that arming teachers with guns will not prevent school shootings. It doesn't matter how prepared someone is to use the gun, there's no way to tell how they will truly respond when thrown in a situation involving an active shooter. Teachers being armed with guns in the classroom will not stop an active shooter, if a paid armed security guard wouldn't face a shooter in the school, teachers will not either. When I heard this senior law enforcement analyst say women can't carry guns because of the clothes they wear I was stunned. I automatically thought this man is a complete idiot. He said women can't carry guns because they wear dresses and skirts and they would have nowhere to put the gun. But women don't wear just one type of clothing. They can wear a dress but they can also wear jeans, shorts, tank tops, leggings and jackets. Here are some pictures to explain where women can put their gun when they are carrying it on them with different types of clothing: Example 1: Women can wear a tank top and carry their gun on their side of the tank top Example 2: Women can carry their gun by carrying it on their leggings Example 3: Women can carry their guns by carrying it on their jeans Therefore, I think this Senior Law Enforcement Analyst is clearly wrong about women not being able to carry a gun because of the clothes they wear.
